The University of California - Santa Barbara will host the 10th International Symposium on Antarctic Earth Sciences (ISAES X) on campus August 26 - September 1, 2007. The ISAES X is the major international Antarctic Geoscience meeting convened once every four years that brings together ~400-500 scientists from over 35 countries. The weeklong symposium, which is sponsored by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), addresses major topics in Antarctic Earth Science. We are contacting publishers and scientific suppliers who work closely with the membership to provide you with information regarding exhibitor and advertising opportunities at this event. Exhibit space will be located in and adjacent to the symposium main hall, Corwin Pavilion, UCSB University Center.
Exhibitor Registration Package
The cost for each exhibitor registration package is $1000.00. Your package includes:
8' x 10' space for exhibit area
One (1) 6' skirted table
Two (2) chairs
One (1) complete regular registration is included, which comprises conference access, listing of company or organization name, address, phone, fax, URL and up to 50-word description in the conference program, and listing on event web site with link back to your web site, tote bag, program and abstracts, opening reception on Sunday, and banquet dinner on Thursday.
To reserve your space, complete the online registration on the Registration page with payment by June 1, 2007. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration. We will accept vendors/exhibitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional equipment besides that listed above will be provided based on availability and at an additional cost. If you should require additional equipment, please contact Sally Vito at 805 893-6028 or by email at email@example.com for availability and price quote.
To register any additional representatives, they should register online at the meeting web site.
The Exhibit area (located on the Lagoon Plaza, adjacent to the University Center) will be open for setup on Monday morning, August 27. Exhibitors are invited to the opening reception Sunday evening. The exact schedule is now being developed but exhibits will be up the entire week during the conference. Attendees will be present each day except Wednesday afternoon.
Interested companies and organizations may also purchase advertisement space in the Conference Program to be distributed to all event participants. This advertisement should be black and white. The cost for a half page advertisement is $200.00 and a whole page is $300.00. If you are interested, please indicate your interest by selecting the advertisement option on the registration form and including your full payment with your registration.
All cancellations must be in writing. Please send them via fax to 805 893-6018 or by email to email@example.com . A full refund will be issued less a $50.00 processing fee for cancellations received before July 16, 2007. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED ON OR AFTER JULY 16, 2007 .
